as the face of time fades
the end of nightfall's serenades
blissfull evening befalls the world
but time will have its way
I am paused
in a moment of great pain
to suffer in this moment
until it is mine again
repeat and repeat
the day it does
repeat and repeat
the way it was
as I lie in wait
to join my fate
I long for a change
some sort of rearange
so in silence I pray
to wait out another day
until my day is whole again
the day that I know not when....
